A tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is an electronic system designed to monitor the air pressure inside the pneumatic tires on various types of vehicles. With a specialized sensor installed into each tire, fleet managers and drivers can immediately get the status of all tires of the vehicle with less effort. TPMS reports real-time tire pressure & tire temperature information to the driver, as well as the control room. The purpose of the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in the vehicle is to warn, that at least one or more tires are significantly under-inflated or over-inflated, possibly creating unsafe driving conditions.
